Guidelines to Help with your Fast
DURING THIS FAST HERE ARE A FEW GUIDELINES TO HELP YOU ALONG THE WAY:
-Start with a desire and determination to finish this fast.
-Cut down on foods with high caffeine, salt and sugar content.
-Don't eat solid foods till after 6pm each day.
-Drink lots of water during the day.
-Break your fast with smaller portions of food than you will
normally eat. If you are on medication, pregnant or nursing a baby,
don't fast unless your physician gives you permission to do so.
-However, please pray. Spend extended periods of time
worshiping God and reading the Bible.
-Avoid music, movies and TV programs that may distract you from your spiritual focus.
-Cut down screen time, especially Social Media.
-We have a prayer schedule and guide to help you throughout the fast.
-Make good use of it and join the prayer sessions.
