Raise Them Up in the Lord

It is God’s will that our descendents become mighty on earth. Sadly, we see so much devastation around because people do not conscientiously apply God’s word and wisdom in raising their children. It should be noted that children are not an unfortunate end-product of an individual’s mistake. They are God’s heritage, His gift and His delight. Parents are only stewards and will render an account to God for the way they raise their children.

No one can raise a godly heritage for you (not the school, church, social media, or television). It is the parents’ business to do that; it is hard work but also rewarding. Children are like mirrors; they reflect what they see and hear. It is therefore important for every parent to be interested in their children. Get to know them;

do not take them for granted. Be interested in where they go, what they get themselves involved in and who they relate to. Too many parents have no time for their children. They give all their life and time to work to the neglect of their most important assignment. Children are dear to God’s heart, and parents are chosen by God to be stewards of God's heritage.

PRAYER POINTS:
1. Pray that God will give every parent the wisdom to raise their children in the fear of the Lord.
2. By divine authority in the blood, dismantle any form of wickedness that is designed to undermine and terminate the destinies of children in Jesus name.
