God is not only the Lord over what is good, but He is also the Lord over what is broken or dead. Nothing changes who He is and what He does. He is still God. The question we all ask when life happens is this, why this trial? What will I do with it? And what will be my attitude towards it?

God is all wise and all-powerful. His will is perfect, yet He doesn’t always work in ways that we can understand. As high as the heavens are from the earth so are His ways towards us. There are times that it seems like He is far from you, which may cause you to doubt His presence or His care for you.

But God never forsakes or abandons His children. He is never insensitive to your sufferings. People may have disappointed you, loved ones may have left you but there is a friend that sticks closer than a brother. Stand tall through your trial, trusting that God is with you!
