Confidence Through the Storm

MARCH 23RD, 2022 | TODAY'S DEVOTIONAL: CONFIDENCE THROUGH THE STORM (HEBREWS 10:35-36)
For as long as we walk on this earth, we will face storms, trials, adversities, trouble, afflictions. They are unavoidable. Jesus assured us that in this world we will face afflictions, but in Him there is peace. He said we should be cheerful because he has already overcome the world. The assurance of hope and peace in His word is the foundation of our joy and a heart for thanksgiving. The Corona-Virus Pandemic was a global storm. If you are reading this today it means God spared you through this storm.

We all face storms in life, regardless of the intensity. Many people run away when faced with adversities. Some ignore the problem hoping that it will go away. Some see it as their plight in life and may even call it “my luck in life.” Some may decide to face the problem with faith in the name of Jesus.

When the storms of life come your way, remember what God has already said in His word. Put your confidence in God. Don’t walk in doubt. Remember His word to you when all was calm and hold on to that word. Have confidence in God and trust His power to bring you through every storm.
