Healed by His Stripes
Lazarus had been close to Jesus, yet he became deathly ill. Many people around Jesus wondered how someone so close to Jesus could be sick. Some actually thought that Lazarus may have sinned or done something terribly wrong. But the Bible helps us see that sickness and death do not indicate that God has rejected someone or that they have done something wrong.
The presence of pain and suffering in the lives of faithful believers can teach us that Christians do not have different experiences in life, rather, they experience and handle life differently.
Our hope in Jesus does not insulate us from life’s difficulties, but it does provide a way through and beyond them. God can use difficult experiences to make us more compassionate servants for him as we console others. It is God’s desire and plan for you to live in divine health. It is His will that you walk in blessing and not in a curse.
PRAYER POINTS:
1. Pray and come against every spirit of sickness, illness and disease assigned against your life and your loved ones.
2. Pray that by His stripes you are healed, and enforce the healing power of the cross over your life and family in Jesus name.
