Honoring your Pastor

It is God that brings us to our place of worship. Even though it looks like we choose where to worship, it is in God’s plan and He sets Shepherds over us “according to My heart.”

God calls and sets a person over a congregation. No matter how anointed or powerful such a leader is, he can achieve nothing lasting without the committed support of other leaders, and the honor that the congregation bestows on him.

Honoring the servant of God is one way God grants you grace for divine blessings. Honoring the Set Man over the house is a gateway to favor and growth in a local assembly. Jesus said in Mark 9:14 that, “I tell you the truth, anyone who gives you a cup of water in my name because you belong to Christ will certainly not lose his reward.”

The anointing you serve will ultimately become the anointing you bear. Anointing comes with impartation and impartation comes through association.

PRAYER POINTS:
1. Pray that the Grace of God will sustain and strengthen the Shepherds God has set over you
2. Pray that the Lord will make His Word in their mouths run swiftly with divine manifestations, divine power, divine approval and with signs and wonders.
