God's Wonderful Peace

True peace is not found in positive thinking, or absence of conflict. Peace is not a natural reaction to pain, trouble, sorrow or adversity. It is not even found in good feelings. It comes from knowing that God is Great, and that He is in control. God’s peace surpasses all human understanding. The natural mind cannot fathom the depth of God’s peace. It is a mystery.

Peace is not the absence of Conflict, Strife or Fight. It could be quiet around you and still not be peaceful. During the pandemic church auditoriums were quiet, stadiums were empty and quiet, shopping walls were quiet, our streets were quiet, yet we were not peaceful. There was fear and tension. Peace is not absolute tranquility, because there is no place on earth that has total tranquility. Peace is not the guarantee for security. You will never live without some pressure or adversity.

True peace can only be found in God! He is the source of your peace. His peace transcends every human understanding, ordinance and establishment. If you have everything and yet have no peace, you indeed have nothing. You can have a palace of gold, with diamond fixtures, but if there is no peace it is nothing but emptiness. You can have a job and earn six figures but if you have no peace, what does it matter? Why do you amass great wealth and spend it all trying to find peace of mind?

When God gives you His peace, it guards your heart and mind. His peace protects us against external forces and attacks. It is like soldiers surrounding a city, He wraps His peace around your heart and mind. Receive His Peace in your life today.
