A Call to Holy Living

Peter, the Apostle, wrote this letter to believers in the Lord who were going through severe persecution at the hands of a pagan culture. And in his letter he admonished and encouraged them to a holy Christian living irrespective of the challenges they faced. There is always the pressure to conform to the norms of the world, but the call to the believer is to be transformed into the image of Christ.

If we profess and confess Jesus Christ as our Lord and Savior, then our conduct and behavior must depict the Christ we are following, In other words we cannot live our lives anyhow. We need to do whatever it takes to focus our thoughts on those things that allow us to serve God successfully. It means you must be separated and set apart for God. Your life has to be free from anything that would offend God.

To be holy means that your life must be dedicated totally to God and separated totally from the sin of this world.

PRAYER POINTS:
Pray and ask the Holy Spirit to take full control of your mind, your soul and your body.
Pray and ask the Lord to sanctify you by His precious blood and present you Holy before the father.
