Serving God with the Right Attitude

God exalted Jesus and gave Him the name above all names because Christ humbled Himself and willingly set aside His glory in order to die a substitutionary death on the cross. He demonstrated for us that serving God must be in obedience, submission and sacrifice to God. The attitude of Jesus should become the attitude of the believer.

Your attitude is a determining factor in achieving success in life. Your attitude is key in determining the way you face life’s numerous challenges. Jesus could attain the glory of being given the name that is above all names because of His attitude towards the suffering, shame and rejection He endured in the hands of the very people He came to save.

Your attitude is your reaction to what life hands over to you, be it positive or negative. Your attitude is under your control and only you can change it. Serve the Lord with the right attitude.
