Delay Is Not Denial
FEBRUARY 16TH, 2022 | TODAY'S DEVOTIONAL: DELAY IS NOT DENIAL (ECCLESIASTES 3:11)
Life is just like any journey on the highway. It is filled with dead-ends, delays, detours and a lot of unanswered questions. The most common question that people often ask is; “Why doesn’t God answer our prayers immediately?” Or “if He hears our prayers and has the power to do it, why does He wait a long time to answer?” We want things quick and have no time to spare. But it is important to understand that God will, sometimes, use the delays and detours to test your faith, teach you to trust Him more and to build your faith.
He uses delays in our lives to prepare us for what lies ahead of us.
The test of your faith and maturity is in your response to the delays.
When it feels like your answer is delayed and you are running out of time, don’t entertain fear. God is always with you and He is working behind the scenes of your life. Don’t fret, don’t faint, don’t forget in the dark what He told you in the lights. Stop complaining and don’t rush God. He is never too late. Trust God’s time and hold on to His word. God’s promises are always greater than the problems you are facing. God hasn’t forgotten about you. Remember this, that with God Delay is not Denial.
