Love Suffers Long

FEBRUARY 14TH, 2022 | TODAY'S DEVOTIONAL: LOVE SUFFERS LONG (1 Corinthians 13:4)

Our modern society encourages us to get rid of people in our lives who are difficult to get along with, whether they are friends, family or acquaintances. Yet this attitude runs in complete contrast to the love described in God’s Word. True love puts up with people who would be easier to give up on. Love never wears out. When patience is tried, love suffers long. Love’s patience is never exhausted. If you are going to live a love life, you must understand that you will walk a path of sorrow sometimes. Jesus is love, yet He was a Man of Sorrows.

it is more important for us to manifest the nature of God than to manifest in the Power of God.
By His nature “God is Love.” The Love God has for us is patient. He doesn’t use our limitations against us. We must endeavor to demonstrate that same love to those who are difficult to love.
Love must be supreme in the human heart, in the mind and supreme in the human will.

PRAYER POINTS:
1. Commit yourself to God and ask him to fill your heart with patience
2. Speak the blessings of God over your loved ones.
3. Pray that the Lord will to fill your relationships with joy and fulfillment
4. Ask God for His Peace in every area of your life.
